Christopher Columbus Soccer Tournament (October 11-12-13, 2008)
The Christopher Columbus Cup, is played in Brooklyn, New York on October 11-12-13, 2008 The tournament is attracting some of the best clubs in the USA and Canada.
- We offer a College Showcase that routinely draws some of the top men’s college coaches.
-The Columbus Cup is a Premier level tournament for Boys, U-8 - U-19.
-Teams are guaranteed 3 games, as well as, a semifinal and Championship game.
-Team Cup Trophies for all ages, 1st and 2nd place.
-Participation Trophies for all players in the U-8, U-9, U-10 divisions.
Format:
In the opening round robin, teams are bracketed into groups of four or five and are guaranteed a minimum of three or four games, depending on the number of teams. Group winners and/or wildcards advance to the elimination stage of the tournament. All games are played at Dreir-Offerman Park and neighboring high school fields. The boys College Show-case (U16-17 & U19) will be played at the new Aviator Sports Center. Trophies and medals are awarded to all finalists. Christopher Columbus Soccer Tournament is sanctioned by the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, United States Soccer Federation and FIFA. The Brooklyn Italians Youth Soccer Club is the host of the Christopher Columbus Soccer Tournament.
All entry fees must be paid via credit card on line through the Christopher Columbus Soccer Tournament / Brooklyn Italians website, or by check after you register on-line.
If your team is not accepted, you will receive a full refund if you paid by check or money order. If you paid by credit card and your team is not accepted, there will be a 5% processing fee deducted from your refund.
Once your team is accepted into the Christopher Columbus Cup, there will be no refunds!
All entry fees will be deposited upon receipt. Deposit of entry does not indicate acceptance of the team.
