KANSAS CITY, Missouri – This weekend four Brooklyn Italians representatives traveled to Kansas City to participate in the NSCAA Convention. This experience was beneficial for the organization.  Youth Director Joseph Barone and Director of Coaching Miro Huseinovic attended important meetings with PUMA and the National Premier Soccer League. Director Barone said, “Our weekend was very productive. We made a lot of contacts and discussed new opportunities for our players.”

Director of Coaching Huseinovic met with our PUMA affiliates to select the 2012 gear. “I’m excited to be apart of the design process and we are going to have the latest style gear for the next season,” said Huseinovic. Coaches Luis Flores and Peter Barone attended coaching sessions along with Director Huseinovic. Coach Flores and Barone are excited to bring the new knowledge back to Brooklyn with them. “We have videos, notes and practices ready to bring back to our players back home and help improve their skills,” said Coach Barone. Next years’ NSCAA Convention will be held in Indianapolis and the club looks forward to attending it.
