Brooklyn Italians Soccer Academy Boys & Girls Ages: 4-10

Ages: 4 - 10

This 8-week class is designed for our smallest of soccer stars and aims to introduce children to the game of soccer and the joy of movement in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Arriving on time:

Sessions begin promptly. Arriving on time will give your child the advantage of a comfortable transition into the practice.

Location

All sessions take place at John Dewey High School, on Sunday (9:00 AM to 10:00 AM) and Wednesday (6:00 PM to 7:00 PM)

or at Drieir Offerman Park on Tuesday and Thursday (4:00 to 5:00 PM).

Don’t Forget to Bring the Following:

Official Brooklyn Italians T-Shirt
Shin Guards
Cleats or Sneakers
A # 3 soccer ball

Cancellations

Many Academy parents have asked the question...What happens if it rains? And the answer is - The Academy is for fun. As a general rule, young children do not enjoy being too hot, too cold or too wet. As parents, we have some insight as to our own child’s tolerances for the elements, thus, PLEASE USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT FOR YOUR CHILD. We would like your childs introduction to soccer to be a positive one. If you have a perfect weather child, your child may enjoy participating more if they do so only on the perfect weather days. If your child is weather resistant, join us drizzle or shine.

Reminders about our Fields & Program

A parent or guardian must be present during the entire Munchkin practice. This is not a drop-off program.
We know you love your pets, but we ask that you please love them at home, not at the soccer field.
Absolutely NO PETS are allowed.
We also need your help to keep the fields clean. The school districts have been very helpful making fields available for the kids, and all they ask in return is that we keep them clean. Please pick-up after yourself and your Email us at BrooklynitaliansAcademy@gmail.com with any additional questions.
